The End?

Both my music page on Facebook and my Soundcloud page have given up the ghost. However, I made this blog the main page for anything having to do with Dalama Jones.

Some updates:

1. No progress in music has been made for quite awhile now (since I currently don't have access to Pro Tools, my keyboard, my drum machine, etc)
   
2. I have made plans for two EPs, hopefully to be finished somewhere between 2013 - 2014
   
3. The titles of the projects are: Home and The Dmitri Chronicles
   Now I will share some artwork with you :)

The picture shown above was going to be the album cover for Home. However, after some consideration I have decided that I am not going to use it. Now ... background story: this is a painting that I did not make with my own two hands. It is painted on one of the walls at the church that I am a part of this year, while I am away at Bible school. While I do admire this painting, it didn't feel right for me to use it as an album cover. I don't think it really matches the sound of the music that I make, and in addition to that, I did not get the permission to use it for this artistic purpose.

This is what I will be using for the cover of the EP. It is a drawing that I drew in my notebook, scanned to my computer, and edited with Photofiltre. I am very happy with it, and I think that it fits my experimental and odd sound quite well. I'm looking forward to making the music for this project. I want for my music to be worshipful to God somehow. 

I haven't finished artwork for The Dmitri Chronicles yet ... but I think that I am close to done. I'll post it once I finish. Thanks for reading :)
